Oxfordshire County Council's Partnerships and Communities' team
The county council's Partnerships and Communities' team encourages and supports local communities across Oxfordshire to become active partners in shaping their future. The Voluntary Sector Development team is responsible for the strategic relationship with the voluntary sector through the Oxfordshire Voluntary Sector Development Partnership and the County Forum. It manages the infrastructure funding and implementation of the Oxfordshire Compact.
A number of other county council teams and services support and work with local communities. The community and living pages on the Oxfordshire County Council website provide a lot of useful information about community planning, funding and grants available to local groups, voluntary sector development and the Oxfordshire Compact.
Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC)
ORCC is a key partner working directly with our rural communities. They support rural communities with advice and guidance particularly to develop community plans. Their aim is to promote thriving, sustainable rural communities and to alleviate disadvantage experienced by many people who live in them.

Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action (OCVA)
OCVA is the main umbrella organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Oxfordshire. Their mission is to enable a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish. They do this by providing advice, information and training, acting as advocates and representatives, and building partnerships.
