The Oxfordshire Partnership's vision for the county is set out in the Oxfordshire 2030 strategy and delivery plan.

In late 2008 the Oxfordshire Partnership agreed Oxfordshire 2030, a partnership plan for improving the quality of life in Oxfordshire.

Local authorities have a duty to produce a Sustainable Community Strategy. The strategy should promote the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area and contribute to the achievement of sustainable development. The Community Strategy is the overarching strategy for the area and provides the main framework for all other strategies. It also gives direction for partnership working in Oxfordshire.
