Oxford Inspires
Oxford Inspires is Oxfordshire's cultural development partnership and works to increase the availability of exciting and enjoyable cultural experiences to people across the county, to strengthen the contribution that culture makes to the local economy and to the wellbeing of communities.
Introduction
Oxford Inspires was established in 2002 to lead Oxford's bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2008 and now works across the whole of Oxfordshire to raise awareness of the cultural opportunities on offer to residents and visitors, to nurture new festivals and spectacular events and to raise Oxfordshire's profile as a cultural destination within the UK and internationally. We help Oxfordshire's 200+ cultural organisations to work together and in partnership with local government, higher education and the private sector.
