Oxfordshire Local Area Agreement 'refreshed'

At the end of March the Partnership agreed its updated Local Area Agreement with government.

Having agreed our Local Area Agreement with government in June 2008 there were a number of indicators for which it was not possible to agree baselines or three year targets. These outstanding issues were addressed through the refresh process. Negotiation on the updated LAA took place over the winter and the final 'refreshed' LAA was agreed at the end of March. Targets in our LAA are now fixed for reward grant which will be payable on achievement of our targets by April 2011. 

Further negotiation is required on our economically affected targets including the number of people on out of work benefits and our housing targets. We will be negotiating these with the Government Office later in 2009.
