South Oxfordshire Partnership
The South Oxfordshire Partnership (SOP) is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the district.

Introduction
An LSP is a body that brings together the council with other public service providers in the area and representatives of the business, voluntary and community sectors.

Membership
SOP's chairman is the Right Reverend Colin Fletcher, Bishop of Dorchester. Other members include representatives from the district and county councils, Thames Valley Police, NHS Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire Rural Community Council, Oxfordshire Association for Young People, Oxfordshire Association of Local Council's and two representatives from the business sector. Roles and responsibilities

SOP has also developed 'Our place, our future: the sustainable community strategy for South Oxfordshire'. It sets out ways in which partner organisations can work together to improve the quality of life of people living and working in South Oxfordshire, and includes ways that SOP can support and contribute to this.
