New Horizons consultation
The New Horizons consultation aims to help come up with an approach to make services for adults with mental health problems better in the future, and to help everyone have better mental health.
The Government has launched a consultation called New Horizons to find out what the public and care staff think of plans to help improve everyone's mental well-being and the services that provide mental health care.
Over the last 18 months, the Government has talked to a wide range of people and listened to their hopes and ideas for mental health from 2010 onwards. The New Horizons consultation reflects what has been heard so far and opens up the debate to all.
Health and social care staff are being encouraged to take part in the debate. The consultation will last from the 23 July to 15 October 2009
