Government response to the NHS Future Forum

Yesterday the government published its response to the NHS Future Forum listening exercise, setting out how it proposes to alter the legislation set out in the Health and Social Care Bill.

On 14 June the government published its initial response to the NHS Future Forum listening exercise, which was held by the Secretary of State to pause, listen, reflect on and improve the government's proposals for modernising the NHS.  This short report sets out that the government accepts the core recommendations of the NHS Future Forum’s report.

The government will explain at a later date exactly how it proposes to alter the legislation set out in the Health and Social Care Bill.
