Government response to the NHS Future Forum report

The Government announced its initial response to the NHS Future Forum listening exercise on 14 June - today's document sets out the Government's detailed response to the Forum's report.

Monday, June 20, 2011

This report explains how the government will make significant changes to improve its plans for modernising the NHS, in line with the Forum's recommendations. Some, but not all, of these changes require amendments to the Health and Social Care Bill. The relevant parts of the Health and Social Care Bill will now be debated by a House of Commons Public Bill Committee.
