Partnership development

The Partnership Development Group brings together all thematic partnerships to discuss common issues.

The Partnership Development Group brings together the lead officers from the seven thematic partnerships with the central support functions of the Partnerships and Communities, Performance and Review and Finance teams. The aims of the group are to

• share learning and experience on common partnership issues and develop partnership approaches
• review progress taking a cross-partnership view
• discuss policies and research that impact on partnerships  
• research and disseminate best practice examples

The group was formed in 2009 and is proving a useful forum to discuss cross cutting partnership issues and manage partnership development.
