Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Partnership
The Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Partnership is responsible for addressing the need for affordable housing in the county and for delivering those outcomes in the Sustainable Community Strategy that relate to housing.

Introduction
A housing partnership has been established in the county for many years, however its current form dates from 2006 when the Oxfordshire Housing Partnership (OHP) came together as a formal partnership with the aim of delivering the vision of the Oxfordshire Sustainable Community Strategy as it relates to housing.
Membership
The OHP members are the councillors with lead responsibility for housing in each of the six councils of Oxfordshire.
Roles and responsibilities
Oxfordshire is a relatively affluent area with a strong economy. As a result the county has to grapple with the issue of affordable housing.
The role of the Partnership is to bring the local councils housing functions together to agree an overarching strategy for housing and seek to improve the provision of affordable hosuing in the area.
The steering group brings together officers from the councils along with housing interests including housing associations to support the aims of the partnership.
