Local Area Agreement signed off
Setting out the priorities agreed between the Government and the Oxfordshire Partnership for 2008-2011.
The Government has now signed off the second Local Area Agreement for Oxfordshire. This sets out priorities agreed between the Government and the Oxfordshire Partnership for 2008-2011. For community safety, the key priorities relate to:
- How well people feel the police and local authority are dealing with crime and anti-social behaviour
- The assault with injury crime rate
- The number of serious, repeat incidents of domestic violence managed by Multi-agency risk Assessment Conferences
- The number of drug users in effective treatment
- The number of young people entering the Youth Justice System for the first time
At the same time, community safety partners are responsible for delivery of the final year targets of the 2006-2009 Local Area Agreement, including reducing offending by young people, reducing domestic violence and reducing re-offending by adult and juvenile prolific and priority offenders.
